The apps that run the event
Tools for the people working the ground — the gate, the recharge desk, the bar, the booth.
Each one is enrolled with a join code from an organiser, and each one is built to keep working when the venue’s network does not.
Are you here to buy a ticket?
Then none of this is for you. Tickets are bought on this website and arrive by email — browse events or find yours under My Tickets. The HAP app for going to events is at hap.live/download. Everything on this page is a staff tool and asks for a join code you cannot get.
At the gate
HAP CheckIn
Scans tickets at the gate, keeps every gate in step over Bluetooth when the venue has no signal, and carries an emergency to whoever can answer it.
What it doesAt the recharge desk
HAP Recharge
Takes cash and card for tickets and wallet top-ups, and keeps a drawer that balances at the end of a shift.
What it doesAt the bar and the food stall
HAP Counter
Sells food, drink and merchandise against a wallet balance — the other half of HAP Recharge, and it never touches cash.
What it doesEverywhere else at the event
HAP Crew
Event operations for everyone who is not on a gate or a till — security, volunteers, medical, production, artist liaison.
Not available yet. HAP CheckIn already covers the gate; this is the rest of a crew’s day, and it is planned rather than released.
On a guest’s own phone
HAP
The guest side of an event — tickets, HAP Pay, the schedule, the map and the live feed, in one app.
What it doesAt a sponsor booth
HAP Partner
A scoped window for sponsors and exhibitors into the events they are attached to — booth, deliverables, staff passes and leads.
Designed, not built. Sponsors and exhibitors are handled by their organiser directly for now.
One code, one handset
A join code enrols exactly one device. Using it again on a second phone takes the first one out of service rather than running both — which is the point, but it surprises people who were trying to be helpful.
Android first, and deliberately
The apps that pass records between phones over Bluetooth do it best on Android. iPhone stops other handsets finding it once the screen is locked, so iPhones make good fixed positions with the app open, and Android handsets make better roamers.
Getting access
Every app on this page is useless without a join code, which an organiser issues per person from their console — one code, one handset. If you are staff and do not have one, ask whoever is running the event. If you are an organiser, the codes are in your dashboard under the team the app belongs to. Anything else — [email protected].
What each app stores on a phone, and for how long, is covered in the Privacy Policy.
