When KonfHub may suit you better
- You want to see the exact fee before you sign up: KonfHub publishes its plans and percentages.
- Your check-in staff use iPhones, Windows laptops or kiosks, or you print badges at the desk.
- Your event is a conference or workshop and registration is the main job.
Moving to HAP
- Create your organiser account and set up your organisation.
- Recreate your event and ticket types, including any access-code tickets.
- Import confirmed attendees from a spreadsheet as complimentary passes.
- Issue join codes to your gate staff for HAP CheckIn.
Questions
Which is cheaper, HAP or KonfHub?
KonfHub publishes its fees (2.5% or 3.75% plus GST on its paid plans). HAP agrees its commission for each event, so ask the events team for a figure for yours and compare the two directly.
Do both work without internet at the gate?
Yes. Both check-in apps work offline. HAP’s gate phones also pass check-ins to each other over Bluetooth, so a ticket used at one gate is refused at another before either reconnects.
Can I run food and drink counters on either?
HAP runs cashless counters with HAP Pay wallets, recharge desks and counter tills. KonfHub’s website does not describe on-site food and drink payments.
